New Zealand has made updates to its 2010 Tariff Schedule.  The update makes changes in Customs Duty, all Preferential Duties, and Alcoholic and Liquor Advisory Council (ALAC) Levy for liquor products.  The following HTS chapters are affected: 21 and 22.

Argentina’s 2010 Tariff Schedule has been updated.  New HTS numbers have been added, old HTS numbers have been deleted, and many existing HTS Descriptions have been modified.  The following HTS chapters are affected: 61, 62, 84, 85, 87 and 90.

The EU Tariff has been updated to include new and invalided HTS numbers and Import Duties, as well as new, changed and invalided Preferential Duties.  The following HTS chapters are affected: 03, 07, 08, 18, 19, 21, 22, 29, 33, 44, 45 and 73.

The United States has added long descriptions to certain HTS which currently have short descriptions.  In addition, it adds 3 new HTS for chapter 98.  The following HTS chapters are affected: 03, 07, 08, 24, 32, 39, 72, 73, 85 and 98.

Australia has repealed anti-dumping duties on certain silicon from China and certain galvanized steel pipes from Thailand.  It has also added import control (import permit) on tablet presses.  The following HTS chapters are affected: 28, 73 and 84.

Landed Cost Update (India)

India has made changes to various free trade agreements.  For the India – South Asian Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA), the India – Singapore preferential duty rates have been updated.  India has also introduced new trade agreements with the Republic of Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), affecting preferential duty rates for various products across the tariff.

Landed Cost Update (China)

Duty rates have been updated for China Free Trade Agreements and Preferential Trade Agreements.  The Editorial Department of the Customs Import and Export Tariff of China has published the 2010 FTA and PTA duties.  It changes FTA and PTA duties to the products across the tariff schedule and also updates HS descriptions and Consumption Taxes.
